Does anyone wonder how much power our president really has? He probably doesn’t have much at all. The party itself, special interest groups, and lobbyist ultimately factor in on decisions made everyday. So, Obama shows up in front of the camera and smiles. While in the meantime his fellow colleagues watch carefully in the backroom with their hands crunched together hoping it goes smoothly. After he reads his elaborate speech that was written by someone else days before, the media pundits address their loud opinions to us viewers. I think I would prefer people to stop bashing Obama and put blame where it belongs, the party itself. It wasn’t Bush and it isn’t Obama. We need to force the parties to own up to their own mistakes and miscalculations.
